We canβt beat back fascism if we donβt fight it in every corner!
Full order and more, here.
The lateral move to at large is perplexingβ unless you view it through the lens of the mailers that our taxpayer dollars were spent on to βintroduceβ her to everyone.
A small win against fascism here in Maryland, but the fight continues!
Iβll never forget this quote:
βStaying out of primaries sounds small-D democratic, very intellectual, and very interesting,β said Hoyer. βBut if you stay out of primaries, and somebody wins in the primary who canβt possibly win in the general.β
They donβt believe in democracy.
Is it the job of voters in a congressional district to select the Dem nominee they wish to represent them or is it the job of the "Democratic leadership" in congress to interfere in active local primaries and dictate that "choice"?
Maryland banned 287(g). Within days, county sheriffs were on camera explaining how they'd keep working with ICE anyway.
That's why we support HB 1575 and SB 791 β the Community Trust Act.
Here's our open letter to the General Assembly urging them to pass these critical bills.
All in all, you were all just bricks in the wall

Good morning to everyone who uses their feet for transportation without wearing comically oversized shoes.
Tommy Vietorβs message to Democrats: If you oppose the war in Iran, you have to oppose funding it.
No.
This is what happens when you line the government with 20-something year old groypers.

Well, Iβm hoping to change that, so stay tuned!

Itβs shocking how many bus stops on busy routes lack basic lighting, seating, and shelter!
The criminals released by the Trump administration continue to stalk, harass, and assault people all over the US. In this case, Silver Spring bethesdamagazine.com/2026/03/03/p...
When I first moved to Hyattsville, my partner and I witnessed a pedestrian exit a Metrobus at this intersection and proceed to be hit by a driver and fly over 10 feet. After much persuasion (he was worried about ambulance costs), I ended up taking him to Holy Cross in the U-Haul to be checked out.

Iβm so very tired of these vibes-based campaigns.
A campaign that has the time to film a video, call @jimacosta.bsky.social the night before launch, and setup a national text fundraising program has the time to add a policy and issues section to their website.
Iβve never come across a plan that is good. What fucks it over is that they can deny coverage for preexisting conditions, so by the time you realize your pet might need insurance, itβs already probably too late to have coverage for their problems.
I donβt think candidates that go around shopping for a congressional seat have the best interests of the district at heart.
You see no problem with him shopping around for a congressional district that will elect him?
Do you even have any principles or is it all just sports team rooting for you?
Voters should pick their representatives. Would-be representatives shouldnβt shop around a state for a set of voters.
You are not getting it. If you moved back to the district you were running in, there would be no problem. However, if you came back after 20 years and decided to run in Western Maryland, youβd be a carpetbagger. During Dunnβs MD03 primary, he was living in Montgomery County ffs.
He doesnβt live in the district, just like he didnβt live in MD03!
This is the same criticism Iβve had of April Delaney and David Trone.
If he wants to run for congress, he should run for the district he actually lives in.
