my son (laptop) is home safe and healed (probably) (i haven't gotten to do much on it yet but it did stay on for a full minute which it couldn't do before, so it's probably fine)

ooouuuggghhh my computer keeps shutting off a few seconds after bootup- it refuses to stay on long enough for me to try any of the potential solutions i've found, i might have to send it in for repairs or something RIP

in this AU they have a gun (at the behest of Mimosa, to keep them further away from combat), instead of the standard issue knives of their original universe. that's neat! Rose still stubbornly forgoes any weapons in favor of her claws.

tho i feel like he didn't get to finish medical school in this AU, either. actually he probably never went at all. but Clover's survived this long with his help, so, he's good enough. "doctor" is always a subjective title anyway, so he claims. you can't tell how much of this is a joke.

"It's been a while since I last passed through," the woman thinks to herself as the boy stops in front of a stall that caught his eye. He stops the woman as she begins to walk away. "Here. Lean down a sec." She does so, and he pins a brooch to her cloak to fix a tear. "There, fixed." The scene reminds her of last time they were in this town, and she had fixed his jacket with a similar brooch. "Now we just turn this in," the boy continues, referencing a paper in his hand, "and we can charter a ship." The woman is brought to tears by her happy memories, embarrassing the boy. "W-what's with the tears?? Stupid crybaby." The two continue walking toward the docks. "On to our next journey."
