Year's almost over...

I think there's a lot I can say about this bingo card. I'm not ashamed of not completing most of these (except reading, I should do that more), I think it shows a difference in mindset between the end of last year and me now. I'm thrilled with what I did do.

Battle Network is wild because you spend the entire game fighting weird domestic terrorists just because you can, then get a full lore dump about your secret dead brother and grandfather in the last 5 minutes before facing the suddenly world-threatening final boss.

10. Reverse yu-gi-oh story. Present-day gamer prodigy boy's soul is sent 1000 years into the future to help popular future girl win at card games. They teach each other (and the audience) about the game and setting respectively. Together, their dumbasses make 1 smart ass.

Also they fall in love.

Dead by Daylight is FINALLY adding custom colour scratch marks.

This is going to make my life as a colourblind person like 20% easier because the red is too hard to see against the greens and browns on certain maps so I sometimes lose survivors mid-chase for no reason.

It's been a wild (and frustrating) journey but also a lot of fun and a really rich vein of inspiration for some creative works.

Really looking forward to BN2, but a night playing something else would be nice.

Dreaming of a podcast called Numbers, where the hosts only talks about the episode numbers.

First 13 episodes are amazingly insightful, then it’s a whole lot of stinkers with increasingly sparse good ones.

Somehow runs for 3000 episodes.

Writers should internalize Lao Tzu's lesson about how the emptiness at the center of a wheel is what makes it useful, and how a pot is valuable because of where the clay *isn't*. Corporate geek culture has warped us into thinking that negative spaces are flaws that need to be fixed.
