Where’s the automation for the 400,000 records I need to manually change one status on, hmm? And which I can only do one page at a time (about 10-13 records at a time).
They say any job based on repetitive skills are going to be automated but where’s the automation for fixing the 12000 rows of data I need to manually fix, huh? Right, they would rather take the art instead.
When everyone uses a slang term so often that you finally need to go look it up…. I had a vague idea what it was intended to mean but I went to check it just in case, and to figure out where it came from. It’s always TikTok, isn’t it…
It was actually a video about the new live action but they had some clips from the original animation in there and I’m like “???? never seen this before”
Just realised I don’t think I actually ever watched the original Snow White animation… I had one of those Little Golden Books outlining the story so over time I think I fooled myself into thinking I watched it. I saw some clips just now and do not recognise it at all…
If I see “wind sheer” instead of “wind shear/“windshear” one more time, I might start slapping people.

I can’t work through a list linearly because I get bored; I end up cutting to the end and working up halfway, or going to somewhere in the middle.

I watched a couple of analysis about it haha aside from the really basic plot and setting per much everything else is different. Like the essence of the characters is sort of there but they are extremely different from the comic.
I left a cable in the other office two weeks ago (didn’t come here last week), and it was still there today… success!
Hmm but I do kind of want to watch it. I’ll just do it when I next have access to Netflix I guess.
Actually scratch that, it seems so different as to be basically a completely different story almost; apart from some of its core narrative I guess.
The Nimona comic was great. I don’t think I want to watch the Netflix movie though, it looks so completely different from the comic’s art style…
Reading is bad for my sleep schedule because I can never stop once I’ve started…
Now I have 3.5 hours before I have to get up for work… good night.
I’m a little late to the party but it was one of the books I was always interested in reading but couldn’t justify committing the time to; so this year’s self imposed reading challenge was a perfect time to finally select it. (Also it was on BorrowBox so it was free haha.)
Holy crap… even knowing how “The Song of Achilles” was likely to end (because it is a retelling of The Iliad), the end was far more devastating than I could have imagined….. I don’t cry that often but boy I cried reading that.
Why do I bother being secretive about what I’m reading… I guess I’m just used to it.
Can’t start a new book in the morning, because if I do I’ll get nothing done today…. Must be patient and wait for end of the day…
Note: I have just finished book 1, seen that there’s a book 2 available, and read in the review that there’s a book 3; and I’m like UGH. Maybe not the series for me lol.
