Just caught the #Crew96 recap- from just the highlights, looked like one of Amundsen’s worst career games. Cleared into the middle straight to Portland for the first goal, gave his mark acres of space on the second goal, and played possum on the third goal. Multi-season trend of him struggling…
#Crew96 season ended as it began. No striker, no replacement for Aiden, concerns about the backline, and endless love and respect for Darlington Nagbe. We’ll never see another player like him.

Normally, I’d say that’s a fair point, but he’s gotten the ball and had plenty of goal/assist chances as per his npxG + xAG. Look at his non-penalty goals, and this includes a bit of his time with Philly. It’s not the system, it’s his constant wasted chances especially compared to his Philly levels!
That’s fair, but Gazdag was a proven top level MLS player, and he just randomly stopped the second he joined us. I just can’t make any sense of it.
Pretty much solidified that Gazdag is the most disappointing signing in #Crew96 history at this point, right?
