I want to point out that I think the game can come back from this with updates, but I think this is more of a cautionary tale for developers: Your fans will appreciate you delaying a game's release vs releasing on-time without building on the features that made your demo a success.
I thought maybe we'd unlock some sort of "unlimited mode" after the story. Where days could get crazier over time. But the game was over before I could even max-out the upgrades that were available. There was even an upgrade for anti-theft, but I never saw any theft from customers.
I really wanted to like Hellmart's full release. I loved the demo and thought there could be some great stuff added to the overall gameplay. Unfortunately, if you played the Demo, you played the full game (minus a few days). I wasn't alone in thinking this. #indiegames #horrorgames
