a simple but strong-willed girl doing everything she can to survive. equipped only with her wit and her trusty cell phone, she survives being pursued by the possessed animatronic the Rat King
The Avernum series by @spiderwebsoftware.bsky.social. I found them when I was a kid in the 90s on a MacAddict demo disc (when it was called Exile), and devoured them. They're so story and lore rich, and very compelling, which was rare to find as a Mac kid. My faves are 2 and 3.

not every bike available right now isn't a $12,000 carbon race bike. At the bike shop I worked at 90% of bikes we sold were rigid, "acoustic" commuter bikes. that's the majority of bikes the big 3 make globally
