The Avernum series by @spiderwebsoftware.bsky.social. I found them when I was a kid in the 90s on a MacAddict demo disc (when it was called Exile), and devoured them. They're so story and lore rich, and very compelling, which was rare to find as a Mac kid. My faves are 2 and 3.
