I enjoy reading and commenting on others posts for fun and to help stay informed. It would be better not to follow me as I’m old, have a variety of interests, and wander all over the place. I don’t have much to offer post wise.

I was raised on clearing your plate but I don’t do it anymore. I do eat the yucky healthy things first though to get them over with.

WATCH — @jamestalarico.bsky.social : “Every dollar we spend bombing people in the Middle East is one we’re not spending here at home. We’re always told we don’t have enough money for schools or healthcare or for veterans, but there’s always enough to bomb people on the other side of the world.”

The richest Americans saw their net worth soar 120% from 2017 to 2025.

The top 1% now control $55.8 trillion in assets — more than the G.D.P. of the United States and China combined.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Still wondering if inequality is out of control?

Let me be clear when I say my senator is off the fucking rails. I am holding out hope for Annie Andrews to win her primary and defeat him in November.

So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion.

That's $1 billion per day.

$41,666,667 per hour.

$11,574 per second.

Thousands of lives lost.

People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

His war drove up the price of oil just in time for Bessent to wave sanctions on Russia so their war machine is funded bigly. There's nothing quite like making sure an enemy has $ to use against you.

I ask it every time I see these homicidal maniacs spewing about the glories of war and not being politically correct or following rules of engagement (or morality)

1) how atrocious these people are
2) the billionaires love our tax dollars funding a war.

This is disgusting. Risking lives for their own selfish greed. I despise those people so much...and the feeling is growing.

I agree with you that most Americans don’t want this.

But there is a ton of fake news and bots claiming the opposite. If you look at Facebook, Fox, X, etc, I can see why people think all Americans are evil. The lies are everywhere.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:

Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace

Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs

Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

I used to think mostly blackmail, but now I feel like this corrupt cabal has been installing their people via the GOP. The corruption is huge and powerful.

Due to the betrayal of Republicans, we have taxation without representation. We want healthcare, housing, affordability but, it’s too expensive. Can’t have things to make our lives better.

But they and throw billions into an unnecessary war that we don’t want and attack our own citizens.

Check out Senator Whitehouse's latest(?) speech. He confirms the fact that not only trump, but also epstien, colluded with the Russians for money laundering and election meddling.

House kills effort to release all congressional sexual misconduct and harassment reports Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., had forced the vote in light of allegations that her Republican colleague Tony Gonzales of Texas sent sexual text messages to a subordinate.

He should. That wasn’t an affair. That was sexual harassment by her boss *AT A MINIMUM*. #ResignGonzalez #ReleaseTheSexualMisconductRecords I often disagree with Nancy Mace, but democrats should absolutely have voted for transparency. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...

Trump/Russia
Trump/Epstein
Epstein/Russia

It’s all connected.

This afternoon, around 2:50 PM, I’ll take to the Senate Floor to unpack some of the numerous, well-documented connections between these parties.

I hope you’ll tune in.

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack.

Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections.

I get ptsd just thinking of having to listen to her screeching. Can they tape her mouth shut and proved a yes / no buzzer? Type out responses that require more than yes no.

Maybe a chair that shocks her when she starts looking in her binder?

If he purely cared about politics, he’d have voted yes to the ugly bill. I think he knew how badly it would hurt his constituents. I remember him waving to his grandchild and think maybe he had to vote his conscience for his family.

Whatever it was, I’m glad to see this!

There are many causes for distraction.

Epstein
DHS attacking our cities
Corruption
Affordability

This also pays off Qatar and others who have bribed him. Possible people blackmailing him.

I’m sick that the US suffers while he keeps causing trouble all over the globe and profits from it.
