Absolutely amazing! As a former caller and a bubble busker on the Canadian prairies! I think we are kindred spirits!

Just finished (except for art for 2) painting a board for Gluckhaus! Now I need someone to draw a rat for me so I can paint it!

A cat loafed behind a cone of white yarn, 2 small balls of blue, and a big ball of pink. The pink ball is attached to a knitting project on two kneedles, about 1.5in of a scarf knit in the Seersucker stitch.

In December, I decided it's about time I learned to knit! So, after a couple of swatches to learn, I decided my first project was going to be a nice big cozy scarf. So 161 stitches casted on and 14.5 rows done! I think it's coming along pretty nicely!

I always like to say "perfection offends the gods m" as a reminder that we're just human and make mistakes! This is beautiful! Can't wait to try twill on mine!

If call it quilting, sewing multiple layers of fabric together (usually in a sadwhich of nice fabrics filling nice filling) with decorative/functional stitching is quilting.

This was me at the local spinners and weavers guild fall sale last month showing off my warp weighted loom! I'm super proud of the progress I've made on it!

It's so nice to be able to take a finished turtle off of the spindle and not need to ply it after!

I've seen people attach chains with weights on them as arms, and it seems to work quite well.

Right! a fellow spinner told me about it! Basically, you make a temporary cope on the shaft of the dwindle with the single ply, then after you have a bit of length wind it onto your hand and chain ply it, the finished chain ply can be wound onto the turtle of the cross arms

I started with sewing, then crochet, then weaving then spinning, then dying, and I just started knitting last week!

I’m tempted to start sewing my own clothes but I’m keeping it at bay…for now. #knitting, #crotchet, and #spinning are constants in my life and I did recently buy a loom.

A Turkish cross arm spindle with blue wool. 3 ply yarn on wound on the cross arms of the spindle while single ply is wound in a temporary cop around the shaft of the spindle, and a length of fluffy light blue wool combed top drapes from where it's attached to the single ply at the top of the spindle.

Another reason I love the Turkish cross armed drop spindle, plying as I spin this gorgeous light blue wool that was gifted to me! This will be my second ball using this technique and I'm hooked!

You can adjust your where the colour change is by changing your tension, hook size or adding (or not doing) an additional stitch, I'd suggest watching some videos on colour work or even ether people's experience with this yarn to get the colours to line up correctly

I am proud to say I am among the youngest who have had it the longest, I was the minimum age the year it came out! My mum said it was no question I would get it.
