Will try to remember to ask any BBC journos if they're at conference why not, if it hasn't appeared before then.

Far cry from the heady days of the 1990s and the efficiency of the Leicester branch in running with R v R and winning.

For us plebs there's usually a disclaimer to be signed on the application form in the case of anything being found to be untrue that allows the employer to instantly dismiss.

It is. The vast majority of criminal trials are dealt with in the magistrates' courts in England and Wales. Complex fraud went to judge only decades ago.
What we actually need are more courts ie reopen/replace many of those closed by the Tories and restoration of legal aid.
This is a sideshow.

Frequently just rewriting patterns. I'm doing one at the moment which has glaring errors. If I ever finish, I will have a completely new pattern.

This is not supporting the removal of the right to trial by jury but would anyone protesting it care to cite the percentage of cases that are actually heard by juries?

As someone who knows where their towel is at all times I don't confine myself to quoting the Sage Adams just once a year.

I cite Adams all the time but im not sure people notice. I got a Roosta quote into a starfleet academy discussion and there was not a ripple.

If you cited it correctly as Whitfield and Strong best known for the Edwin Starr version...

It's a shame. It could have been great if they'd written the scripts for her rather than Chibnall obsessively making his ideas canon. That's been the strength of Who, adapting to the actor.

Scottish banknotes have had wildlife on them for years.

Enjoy it. Moffat has probably been the best writer/show runner of the NuWho era. It all goes incredibly Pete Tong under Chibnall.

Hi Keith. May I invite you to glance across the Pond and look at this year's rugby men's Six Nations championship where Italy have been causing all sorts of mayhem. Their win against England has provoked what can only be described as an existential crisis for the English. It's not just baseball.

A picture of a Scottish Β£10 note issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland. The note is mainly in shades of brown and blue. The main part of the note depicts two otters at play in the Scottish countryside in a streamTowards the right side there is a white stripe running from top to bottom cutting through the design with the bank's symbol superimposed towards the topof the note. In the top right hand corner there is a Β£10 symbol on the main brown background.
Scottish banks have the power to issue their own bank notes. These are generally prettier and less concerned with old white men than those issued by the Bank of England.

Apparently a "major change to UK banknotes" has been confirmed with "British" wildlife to feature on the next series of notes. So I opened my purse and took out this.
There's a non royal woman on the other side.

I'm old enough to remember Martin Johnson talking about Woodward impressing on England the need to eliminate penalties.

The issue for many will be that if they accept this article as fact then they may just have to re-examine the actions of QEII and I'm not sure that enough people are ready to do that.

May I refer you to the hatchet taken to the court estate under the coalition and continued by Cameron's Post 2015 government exacerbated by the successive appointment of non lawyers as SoS for Justice who knew less than sweet FA about the justice system in England & Wales but wanted to be in Cabinet

FYI we had a president of the UK Supreme Court who did bar work while a student. Any guesses at the gender?

I can relate to Reno as a lecturer who spent many years trying to idiot proof my courses until I realised how inventive idiots can be and then just got on with trying to save them from themselves.
