DO IT!!!
Crusades 2.0. With 21st century weapons. Just f'ing wonderful.
As of last week, sandhill cranes still around, not fooled by warm weather.
Will need to replace a piece of rotten fascia, afraid there are screws behind the metal roof edge. Maybe find some kind of flashing to just cover it up. We have enough siding left from the house to re-side the north wall. That's the really bad part where the rodents are getting in.
Word of the day was "dumbshit",Applied to the original owner who built the shed. Siding installed over window flanges, Everything attached with screws - even the siding. Hoping I don't find rotten framing when We take the siding off. Should be able to salvage a good portion of the trim.
Thank you MJ and BlueSky friends!
Did get the lawn raked and gave it a crewcut. (1") Need to grub out some weeds and the worst of the crabgrass. Gave up on controlling the ber-f'ing-muda grass. Took the trim off the garden shed, what I could reach without ladder.
Grey kittens, once more:

Make every vote count
T'row da bums out!
The cone of shame.
OTOH, grass is starting to sprout so need to rake our little patch of lawn and mow short.
Was hoping to burn some rusky thistle, but wind already 14-16. Maybe tomorrow if things are still wet, otherwise bag for transfer station or store to burn later. Forecast gusts to 30s today, maybe finish fence tomorrow. Maybe more prep for the garden shed project.
Another little shower around dinnertime, no measurable. Got more stuff on eBay, sold 1 already. Sliced up Sunday's tri-tip, some for dinner, rest for sandwiches, freeze some. Have one of the little carver hams from Sam's to slice and freeze also.
More grey kittens:
I think some stations are really gouging. Just filled up yesterday at $3.29
He was in Rio Bravo with John Wayne, Dean Martin, and Rick Nelson. Howzzat for a mix?

Day 10- A Song That Feels Like A Memory Replaying
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Who'll Stop the Rain
The rain symbolizes memories, the song feels like recalling every broken promise at once, soft, steady, and resigned.

When I lived in MO, I would crack black walnuts on the brick hearth to go in homemade ice cream. Shells went in the fire; burned like coal.
Few sprinkles, some slushy drops, coming back from Silver. Gym helped the back a lot. Another set of my stretching assignment later, maybe ice to reduce the bursas around my spine hardware. Barometric changes affect things there. Actually, Dr said good chance I'd have a barometer in my back. Yep.
Nachos at Chachis last week. Huge. Brought 2/3 home, made nacho pie, adding enchilada sauce and cheese. Made 2 more dinners and 1 lunch serving.
Shelled pecans=shells off.
Shelled eggs=...eyeew.
A little shower over nite, 0.1". 70% today. Finished the north fence. Even after stretching still had to crimp the wires where fence was deformed from the impact of vehicle or rocks. Fence work and weather change have made my back extremely unhappy. South fence later.
Today would be good.
Take an X-ray. They really don't melt.
ICE to the rescueβ¦they can escort the oil through the strait
And shit on everything.
80% rain tonite, 90% Tue, high 56. But pushing 80 by Fri. Voting ended 9 pm Sun, so should hear from DPNM soon.
Prepped starter pots & got them soaked, seeds today. Planted peas. Radishes coming up, green cabbage slow so far, all 4 reds came up even though seeds were old - need to thin and divide.
Magabird!
We are totally nucking futs! Ain't it great?!
Roll,roll roll...
