Jade: The Great Gatsby is one of the easiest books to read that is considered Great Literature. Also, it’s called Cliff’s Notes, or do those no longer exist?

Josie: We’re working I n the next chapter of The Darkest Rainbow. It’s been a rough two weeks, btw.

To give some context, until we knew we were a system, our persecutor alter would constantly do stuff like this. After we knew, he had a harder time doing it, but he still manages sometimes.

Josie: Thank you. We do a lot of writing and we’re good at it at this point.

Josie: It would actually be a fantastic story set during the first days after The Burn as communications to an isolated planet get more and more sporadic. The growing isolation of the people on the planet, maybe a small colony, now facing the darkness on their own.

Rosie: and if we’re honest, we’ve loved Bosco’s take on Striker more than Reedus’. Bosco is an excellent actor. So yeah…Brown just needs to go away since both Bosco and Amir are their own blessings to this fandom and both series.

Rosie: And most of Alastor’s personality in the pilot is because of Ed Bosco’s excellent acting and since then because of Amir’s fantastic vocal work. Notice how Ed’s continued on in the Hellaverse and someone else hasn’t been invited back- ever.

Rosie: We’re not sure why, but something from Dune feels rather appropriate right now- “He who controls the Spice controls the universe.”

Then again, a lot of people have never read the book, seen any of the adaptations, and probably don’t know this isn’t about something called Spice.

Josie: Our legal name came from the Goddess Brigid and from St. Brigid…the latter we had learned was married to a woman named Darlughdacha…we don’t spell it like Brigid, but that is where we got our name.

We’re missing one card- Adam’s Office, but beyond that we have most of everything we wanted. There’s two foil cards we’d love but if we don’t get them we’re not upset.

Josie: So…we got our 2nd Edition cards today and we got quite a few we wanted that we didn’t have. The big thing, though, is we got Alastor. It’s funny because with S1 we didn’t get Alastor until 2nd Edition run. But the big one we really love is we got the opti card for Hear My Hope.

Josie: And possibly one of the worst parts is just how many of them are paid agitators being fed a script to destroy ’Wokeness’ even tough most people love these shows.

Jade: Okay…that made us laugh…let’s face it, that’s kind of the dynamic going on at that point.

We have decided to take what we love about this story and rewrite it entirely. We feel bad about it, but we cannot even read through it entirely without feeling nauseous.

Then the GenAI boom hit and books are being written by computer programs and so-called authors are duping people into reading slop. Did you know that John Creasey wrote up to 36 novels in a year? Yeah…it’s possible to write fast. He wrote as much in a day as we do in a week.

in a less than perfect state. We’re doing this on our own, and yes, we can put out 10,000 words a week sometimes…but think about it…a decade ago we had dreams of being a writer. We had to take care of our body’s mom as she was dying. We lost momentum on our own world.

Jade: Every time we see someone subscribe to or bookmark one of our stories we want to cry. We know that kudos are good, and hits are nice, but the fact that people want to come back to read our stories is amazing. We’re a messy writer and you’re all reading stuff that, honestly, is still kind of…
