linux experience so far: really good, pretty much everything works with minimal config
downsides: i now have to write a program to properly use my huion k20 keypad as a macropad again (but also this sounds like a fun challenge)

Tbh I haven't delved into music stuff on there yet, I still use a Mac for any music stuff, but if you use openmpt you should be perfectly fine, I've ran that through wine on Mac before and it's worked great
