Young WOMEN have turned to the left compared to older women.
Recent graph on Trump approval provides good example.

ICMYI: reported protests in the US in 2025 are almost certainly outpacing protests during Trump 1.0. In March 2025, we recorded significant growth in the number of cumulative events, and also an uptick in the rate of events (# of protests/week).

It will probably not surprise anybody that higher income inequality correlates to lower support for democracy.
But the relationship strengthened from 2010 to 2020.
Bottom line: if you care about renewing and strengthening democracy, pay workers more, pay executives less.
