Went biking and managed to get myself trapped in a parking lot with a gate. The only other person in the lot was a man who punched in his code to let me out, but not before asking if I was trans and propositioning me.

I believe this still puts him in the top 5% for respectfulness among chasers.

After moving, I gave the local pharmacy a shot and was told they weren’t accepting new prescriptions 🤷‍♀️
It was also the weirdest experience I’ve had in a pharmacy, having to loudly list off each medication I was on to the pharmacist who was about 15 feet away and wouldn’t come to the counter

I would argue that it’s not really delusions about security that drive this, but instead that those overseas pharmacies can’t use traditional payment processors. And the customers aren’t really given much of a choice.
I’ve personally used one that took checks instead of crypto.

So, the sensor disables it if it thinks you don’t have full contact with the skin, and on more narrow/curved areas, that happens a lot. Then you have to lift it off and start it over and hope you have good contact; it was frustrating enough that it didn’t bother.
But face and chest were fine for me.

I used the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5. Primarily on my face and chest, and saw pretty dramatic reductions in both areas after a few months.
Still have to shave occasionally, but just ~1.25x/week.

Main downside is the sensor thing; it’s overly conservative and can make it hard to do arms and legs.

That’s true. And it’s also how things work currently.

Under the new policy, the Department of Corrections stated that the prisons will only provide those with gender dysphoria with psychotherapy — and not cross-gender hormones — except “in rare instances … if necessary to comply with the U.S. Constitution or a court decision.” The policy argues that “unaddressed psychiatric issues and unaddressed childhood trauma could lead to a misdiagnosis of gender dysphoria,” and that cross-gender hormones “may be requested by persons experiencing short-termed delusions or beliefs which may later be changed and reversed.”

The FL Department of Corrections is attempting to "reverse" the gender identity of transgender people in its custody, referring to trans identities as "short-term delusions" and withholding hormone therapy. Reviving psychiatric theories of the 1950s, they blame trans identities on "childhood trauma"

In my experience, it’s gonna feel like that for a while. And, it’s gonna be great.
