I love a good old fashioned "coin toss" or "drawing of lots"; reminds me of the "Coin Toss of Destiny" way back in the year 2000 when Canada and South Korea level on all stats at the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup settled who moved to the knockout rd via coin toss in a tent. I’m not entirely opposed to not bringing certain players to try out other players for invitational competition. That said I am opposed to trying out those newer with the program players out of position, like we largely did with DB Pridham.

So we finished down six on the projections. That's not great, but we missed in well funded (for us) sports where we also medaled, speed skating and freestyle skiing. I'm worried that the there/thereabouts sports which need the funding will suffer to try and recoup these unexpected losses in 2030.

Yes, the last day should always be reserved for long distance sport, marathons in the Summer Games, Cross-Country Ski in the Winter Games. I wonder if it would be possible to do the 50km Cross Country Ski events in a way that they're just not repetitive laps of a circuit?
