I'm about to call and leave another message and tell him about a family I know who are being harassed and threatened by their landlord, who says he will call ICE on them if they don't pay
Does it matter that their visas are legit? Not when they racially profile you and dump you somewhere else.

This is no different from Putin saying MH17 was shot down by Ukraine or Assad saying rebels gassed themselves.

This “it’s not a war but a special military operation” is very Kremlin March 2022. As is the propaganda that we are not starting a war but ending one. As is the confusion of oligarch media as it tries to be faithful in the confusion…

Please stick to the topic. Are you saying Kamala Harris believed in Jewish racial superiority? That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard today.

Tell AIPAC what? Where did AIPAC say that the candidates were the same?
Kamala Harris was supportive of Israel, sure, and AIPAC funds all politicians who do so. But that doesn't mean all candidates are the same, not by a long shot.

If you are ignorant of the beliefs regarding Israel of the evangelical right (including the people in government in the US right now), I highly suggest you educate yourself.

Defeat the evangelical right's preferred candidate by voting massively against the frontrunner on the other side, even if they were supportive of Israel.

Ακριβώς. Η ιδέα ότι η σημερινής Ρωσία είναι ένα έθνος "με ιστορία" είναι εξίσου ένα επινοημενο αφήγημα με αυτό τις σημερινής Ουκρανίας.

True, we also had plenty of those in Greece during our debt crisis who wanted a total break with EU institutions. I think it's wrong to malign them too much, though, as the alternatives were pretty bad. Same in the US, the risk-it-all people are responding to real systemic issues, not imaginary.

Problem is that even small differences can have disproportionately large effects (especially in the absence of strong societal control systems, of which the US has very few). Also, people didn't notice that the republican party is eroded by Trump and no longer overlaps with the democratic as much.

I am not saying that we don't have a moral choice, but I disagree that it's at the ballot box. One moral choice is which collective you decide to strengthen its ranks with. plenty of immoral choices to choose from today, unfortunately, but the "no genocide" group's not one of them.

Sure, we all know that Trump will be bad or worse than KΗ, but for some, strengthening the Left was a more important objective than maintaining some basic US foreign policy standards. Did they get closer to their objective? No, they underestimated Trump badly and have failed miserably.

that's an assumption that fits nicely with the totalising US (and British)political system, but even there, I think, inaccurate. Society is complicated and in elections as well as elsewhere groups fight to achieve incongruous objectives not to solve a single set of equations.
