Usually we don't catch closures until after the fact, but when we do we can contribute to spark some urgency for that last pint, and a chance to thank the staff for all the beer ๐ป

Hereโs what it communicates in words: X-axis (horizontal): Dates, starting from mid-June and going through early September. Y-axis (vertical): Net changes per week, ranging from -18 to +18. Bars: Each bar shows whether that week had more venues/cities added (bar pointing up) or removed (bar pointing down). Key observations: Most weeks in June, July, and early August had positive changes, meaning new cities or venues were added โ some weeks had big jumps of +10 to +18. One or two weeks in this period show slightly negative or near-zero changes, meaning almost no updates or a small cleanup/removal. The latest week (early September) shows a large negative change of around -17, meaning many cities or venues were removed or cleaned up from the database.
Cleanup on the #beer aisle? Sometimes the periodic cleanup is particularly devastating, and we had to remove 17 venues today that are no longer open. Thanks for all the beer! ๐ซ
