Darned hole on a sweater cuff in blue and green. It looks like it was attacked by a spider with colorful silk except that spider webs are elegant.

Still working on my visible mends. I hate my woven darns. They are so sloppy. Iβm going to keep going to practice more.
Her engagement with Guppy is hilarious.
Can I join you? I promise Iβll be quiet.
FWIW, a maid could live for a year off a purloined tablecloth - you would do linen, silver etc. inventory constantly. Having the keys meant you were insanely trusted. All the household goods would be locked up unless in use. Those big tea boxes were because tea was also expensive: locked up.
Here, where itβs not as prosperous (like the Dedlocks) itβs very much a position of a daughter.
Having the keys, and him giving her the keys right off the bat (also that sheβs the product of sin and therefore untrustworthy) is a sign of trust and respect. In great houses the housekeeper would have the keys under the supervision of the lady of the house. It was the highest female servant.
And I have worked for some absolutely insane bad guys, so this is at least a relief.
Thank you. Finding out that people I trust know and like the new guy who I would perhaps be working for is good: at least I have that going for me.

I got my copy of The Cage! It holds up!
Such a missed opportunity for Prophylax Pantaloon.
Oh yikes.
I accepted an offer and then showed up into a place that had been blown up and reorganized by the time I got there β¦
One reason I might not be moved is the big boss likes my area and I donβt think BB would be happy if my role were empty. But I have no idea, and as you say, thereβs a lot of planning that I donβt know how to handle.
Thank you. They finally got some of the other parts in place so now I know the horse trading is going on in earnest but I donβt know if Iβm one of the pieces at this point. I can do the work either way, I just would like to know and I canβt talk about it because there would be panic.
Like, they want me to go to a thing in July and do my song and dance. Do I sign up if Iβm not doing this work? What happens to my team? It all sucks.
Possible job transfer update: if it happens, new boss is reputed to be nice. So thereβs that. Taking what I can get, these days. Will probably find out in a month or so. Itβs fine either way. Iβm just tired. Limbo is no fun.

Thereβs always one
Theyβre all just ciphers at this point. Ada: pretty and sweet. Richard: handsome and vague. Esther: already discussed. Going back to the typologies, the hero and the heroine just have to be young and good looking.

This is Summit. He is a friend to pretty much everyone he meets. But has a special soft spot for the little critters who stop long enough for him to say hello. 13/10 (IG: bakerbarnes)
