12-5 Celtics run largely by attacking Victor Wembanyama
My halftime thoughts on Jaylen Brown getting thrown out of the Spurs game by the umpire while the crew chief was handling the situation
This was a generational game from Jaylen Brown and he was pissed about missed call, and the crew chief was letting him get stuff off his chest. He was controlling the situation. The outside ref stepping in was out of bounds.
I cannot believe they just threw Jaylen Brown out of this game. This league allows so much and he gets tossed in that spot. Absolutely horrible officiating.
That would have been an all-time highlight for Jaylen
There's nothing you can do if Wemby is hitting 3-pointers. The C's defensive plan on him has been phenomenal.
Superstar stuff from Brown right now
Playing the Spurs is like the Rebels attacking the Death Star in Return of the Jedi. Wemby is the force field. When he's up, it's just a dogfight out in space. When he's down, it's attack, attack, attack.
Tough drive and finish for Tatum. Those kinds of attacks are so encouraging for a guy coming off that injury. He's not afraid of anything
Phenomenal opening eight minutes for Brown. Tough buckets, great composure and control to find teammates, great defense.
Jaylen Brown making some TOUGH shots
another one
Garza matching up with Wembanyama might just have to be how the rest of this game goes. Flip the matchups and draw Wemby away from the rim.
Well-timed help from Brown on Wembanyama
Derrick White catch and shoot 3
thank you!
Half an hour before the game? Just enough time to listen to, or watch, the BONUS Locked On Celtics, wherere we talk about how Jayson Tatum is nailing every aspect of his return to the Celtics.

Postgame @LOCeltics is UP!
Tatum looks like himself, which means a lot of questions have already been answered. That, plus Jaylen's big 2nd half, Baylor, Payton, & Sam being clutch, and more!

Tatum: Toughest part for me is just being on a minutes restriction. that shit sucks, quite frankly.
Jayson Tatum started off great, Jaylen Brown led the team in scoring, and Payton Pritchard and Baylor Scheierman came up big off the bench to close out the Cavs. Here's my initial reaction, and a full podcast coming up later.
