the latest episode with @chriskindred.com is incredibly cool, and really hammers home how important having hobbies that aren't just playing games are to making games and talking about them. if you wanna make rich games, you gotta start DJing, gardening, knitting, organizing, reading, etc. etc.

I didn’t remember to say this in the show but having a hard burnout a couple years ago really helped me refocus as a person, then as a person who makes things, then as a person who makes games

I've reported 2-3 stories in my career that have sucked the spirit out of my body and this was one of them. But! Seeing the response of the fgc to help their brother genuinely put it right back. Picked this up and played with my partners right away. Our Arcadia became a place of glitching dinosaur mounts, infinite cats, and a lot of unsuccessful flirting with NPCs. We had tons of fun and lots of laughs. I can't wait to bring this one to a bigger group!
