Privatization is the death of societies. Capitalism kills.
As our economy rebounds from Operation Metro Surge, federal policy continues to drive up everyday costs for Minnesotans.
Letβs get it passed.

Co-opt and then enslave. It's the Capitalist way.
'It was the fifth annual cultural festival for the First Nations, but many of its sponsors and organizers were energy companies...The eventβs main stage was presented by Imperial, the company that had hidden its 2022 spill.'

Facebook post by Nekima Levy Armstrong: "Friends, A Breaking News headline just appeared in the Star Tribune, claiming that the national Target boycott ended today. This is false. The writer of the story, Carson Hartzog, is fully aware that the Target boycott was launched in Minneapolis on February 1, 2025. I have spoken to her several times since then, yet she failed to reach out to me, Jaylani Hussein, or Monique Cullars Doty, the three founders of the national Target boycott for the story. Carson even used the photo from our press conference that includes my daughter, Assata Joy and Ms. Rosemary Nevils, an elder in our community, to try to add legitimacy to a bogus story. I am once again disgusted by the Star Tribune and their attempts to minimize and erase the voices of our community. The nationwide Target Boycott is not over, unless and until Target reverses its decision to rollback Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as we said from the beginning. βPastorβ Jamal Bryant does not speak for us or our community and has zero authority to end the nationwide boycott of Target, a company that is headquartered in Minneapolis. Please donβt believe the hype and these attempts to rescue Target from the effects of capitulating to the Trump Administration. Target rolled back DEI because of Donald Trump. They donated $1 million to the Trump/Vance inauguration committee. Target also allowed ICE to stage in its parking lots during Operation Metro Surge. The nationwide boycott of Target is successful and it will continue. Please continue to shop elsewhere."
Nekima on the Target boycott.
"wastewater escaped" "uncontrolled release" FFS, call it what it is, an environmental nightmare that we are repeatedly told will not happen but ALWAYS does.
2,00 liters to 5.3 MILLION liters. Your engineers suck at math.
But the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation said they had not been alerted until nine months later, when the government announced it was investigating another βuncontrolled release.β Imperial estimated the second spill to be 2,000 liters. That figure later grew to 5.3 million."
'There are also occasional large-scale spills, such as in 2022, when industrial wastewater escaped from four locations belonging to Imperial, a partly-owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil.
They would need to convince 2 more council members to vote for it. A minimum 9-4 vote is needed to overturn.

This is complete bullshit until they publicly announce they will ban ICE from their properties, including parking lots. www.startribune.com/target-natio...
Wondering how much money AIPAC is throwing at her.

βThe goal is to improve visibility, address chronic nuisance behavior proactively, and build relationships with residents and businesses,β MPDβs Public Information Officer Sergeant Garrett Parten said.
Could they MAYBE try to build relationships with the people who are struggling to survive?
They never address the core issues behind the drug use and homelessness, they just push it out of one area to another (or fence them out) and think it is just going to go away. I remember when they cleaned up Hennepin downtown (80's?) and pushed the drugs and prostitution down to Lake and Park Ave
It's so insidious, they are finding new and interesting ways to plug AI into everything that you do online. Unless you're paying very close attention, you can accidentally start using it so easily. Someone needs to come up with a way to completely block it.
My mother (silent gen) and father (greatest gen) worked most of their lives. My husband and I have always worked (boomer/genx). All of my grandparents worked. One salary family is a fantasy however...it was easier for my parents and my husband and I to afford college, house, retirement.
Had a really bad experience there a couple of years ago. The only thing redeeming about Fhima's was the space.
I am always pissed about finally being able to get up and go to work when it is daylight and then getting set back an hour and going to work in the dark again. @$%#.
Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree
If mankind perished utterly;
And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn,
Would scarcely know that we were gone.
Robins will wear their feathery fire
Whistling their whims on a low fence-wire;
And not one will know of the war, not one
Will care at last when it is done.
There Will Come Soft Rains
Sara Teasdale
There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground,
And swallows circling with their shimmering sound;
And frogs in the pools singing at night,
And wild plum trees in tremulous white,
