There's also a weird thing where ai writing seems to hate paragraphs. Nonstop single sentence grafs that make things both more difficult and less enjoyable to read. I'm fascinated by this, like something in the training decided paragraphs are bad when in fact they are extremely helpful to readers

The current most annoying ai text giveaways are the completely unnecessary interjections. "But he wasn't done." "This is where the story gets interesting." "Then he said the quiet part out loud." Just unnecessary fluff that sounds like the toxic gruel of a nauseating marketing factory.
