I moved to this as a longtime kinesis user and it's SO much better. Way smaller profile, the ability to adjust it to your own shoulder width, and tbh I like the keys better. It also feels more comfortable on my wrists.

This is my keyboard and I think it might well be be last one I buy! It’s genuinely so good! You’ll get used to the thumb clusters in no time. My only tip is to make sure you practice using shift on both sides if you’re like me and you tended to be a one-shift person

I have... no actual deep beef with a tool that isn't imprecise but doesn't try to pass itself off as precise, and which does not devour energy, and which is focused around helping me do what I do without stealing others' work, etc etc.

the thing that gets me is that my answer for "well, what do we do?" is actually pretty moderate?

Like, what I _actually_ want is for genAI-related research to slow down, scale down, stop going to market before guard rails can be appropriately put in place, etc. Treat it as the dangerous tech it is.

There is no level of convenience or productivity that can justify using and supporting genAI "tools".

I literally do not care if they do their job well or poorly. We are beyond that.
