Is it crazy that I’m really excited to try McDonald’s and KFC in Japan? I mean, I’m excited for all the other delicious food I’ll get to enjoy, but I’ve heard so many good things about both those fast food joints in Japan… I’m excited, even if it’s silly.
We got Donald Glover as the voice of Yoshi before we got him as Lando Calrissian again. What the fuck. Disney fumbled that ball so hard that Donald was like, “Fuck it… I’ll go be a cartoon dinosaur with the guy from Parks and Rec instead.”
I know I say this shit a LOT, but for real, this is a great episode.

This new Pokemon game is a dystopian nightmare… but I would live there in a heartbeat.
I haven’t asked. Cassie isn’t really into them. Kara is pretty keen tho.

We’ve been watching Ghibli movies in preparation for our Japan trip, and they’re all just so amazing. Miyazaki is such an incredible storyteller.
I made a tabletop roleplaying game this week. I mean, I wrote most of it a year ago and then forgot about it… but I did all the illustration and layout this week and now it’s a real thing you can buy.
Canadian chocolate is so much better than American too. Not quite as good as chocolate from the UK, but definitely better than that American nonsense. 😜

Oh it is fully a chocolate bar. Wafers with chocolate and vaguely coffee flavoured layers, coated in chocolate. It’s a candy bar. But it says coffee on it so it’s breakfast.

I’ve been drawing a bunch of cool stuff lately and I just realized what an incredible privilege it is to be able to create without the need for AI. Like, I want to make a cool dinosaur and I just do it. Bug monster? Fucking done. No one can stop me and I don’t have to pay a subscription fee.
It’s definitely main character energy. Is that a thing we’re still saying? I can never tell anymore.

I made a silly 8-page TTRPG zine. Sure you could just play D&D, I guess… but where’s the fun in that? Just doing a couple more pieces of art and a final edit or two and then I’ll throw it up online for purchase, if anyone cares.
