Thinking about some UConn Big East championship game moments, and I think this is my personal favorite. 11 year old me jumped higher than Iβve ever jumped, before or since m.youtube.com/watch?v=yqc9...

This was really good! I had never thought about how the assassination occurred just before Opening Day and therefore had never heard the story about how the players responded. This also now makes me want a series about how the sports world responded to [insert major historical event]
That sweatshirt is so good
This happened 15 years ago today. Kemba Walker breaking Gary McGhee's ankles at the buzzer. One of the more famous shots in college basketball history. I took this video from press row.
Cartoon titled "know the work rules". The first panel, labeled "appropriate" depicts Garfield the cat in a business suit leaning around the edge of a cubicle and pointing to a woman at her desk while saying, "coffee lasagna Mondays am I right?" to which the woman responds, hands clasped together, "awww you're so funny" The second panel, labeled "inappropriate", depicts a far side cow leaning around the edge of the same cubicle and speaking with a word bubble which contains only the shapes of the 4 cow tools. The woman fearfully picks up the Phone and says, "hello , complaint department??!"

As soon as Alex started talking about Flutie, I 1) knew immediately where he was going with it and 2) thought βthis is the most Alex answer imaginableβ (complimentary)
Howling at the kicker here
Itβs true, the best Canadian of all time (Bobby Orr) does like Trump too

This is a real license plate you can now order and put on your car.
(To be clear, I donβt think this is likely) but the way this would happen is the βbigβ you-know-who schools leave the ACC and whatever conference entity is left adds UConn maybe a couple other football playing schools and then the spine of the current Big East as basketball-only
Depending on how the cookie crumbles, all 4 of us may end up together again
Both things can be true
Itβs a good question! Even within CT itself, UConn has become a much more desirable school for kids who wouldβve previously ended up at [insert tiny liberal arts school or Indiana lol], because of the culture and the cost. Good on the school for recognizing theyβre the only school like it up there
Wearing both my UGA and UConn hats here, I think a parallel phenomenon is you see that UConn has expressly positioned itself to fit a niche of northeast kids wanting the big state sports school experience without having to go far away from home
Try and do some sort of historic walking tour
Creighton continues to be a bunch of flopping floppers who flop. There is no honor at that program

Never in doubt
Good evening; thinking about how UConn MBB has more national championships this decade than wins at Seton Hall
Dilbert stands in a pasture behind a table with a tombstone on it. The tombstone says "RIP BOZO" and has an image of a sad clown. Caption reads, "dilbert tools."
@alexkirshner.com Indiana vs Miami in the championship game? It might be the year of Jewish college football after all
Was really hoping for one of Golesh, Stein, Silverfield or Sam Leavett to be MOT. Alas
The University of Connecticut defeated Providence College tonight because UConn is better at basketball than Providence and always will be.
Iβm not sure, but hearing reports that it puts the Bucs in
