Today is one year on since this little six year old was killed (my daughter's age) - and then so were the two brave medics who came to rescue her, as agreed by the IDF, as she cowered in her family car with her family dead around her.
I will never forget this story.
Sometimes I feel hopeless about what is happening to the NHS and what people are doing about it. I think we either need to go all in, find the millions of people who care and get a *lot* louder, or we give up.

I wish I had something of use to say... but it looks like you've got some wonderful kids. This won't carry on forever, these things end eventually, they always do. I fervently hope it's soon.
A permanent peaceful solution that respects everyone's human rights, and allows everyone to live lives free from fear, oppression and persecution, may seem a long way off, but every journey has to start somewhere, it would be good if it started sooner rather than later.
You know what, I agree. Hamas should return the hostages. And Israel should stop what it's doing in Gaza.
Attacking innocent civilians is a war crime, whoever does it, and it solves nothing.
Aside from physical harm, the psychological trauma for the survivors will be immense. This is dictionary definition terrorism.
