Thinking about this as I watch public funding get cut to public educational institutions like the one I work for as well.
This episode is important. I signed up for and completed Legal Observer training with the ACLU via Mobilize last Wednesday. If we want that Star Trek, we have to actively participate in creating it, and that means playing a vital role in protecting protestors and our freedom.
