Don’t get me wrong, I’m not standing at the door counting heads as they go in, I just have a rough idea of what’s ‘too big’ for me to enjoy.

And yeah, agreed, sound is critical. If it’s bad it’s nearly pointless for me, it’ll ruin the whole thing.

I’ve just stopped going to anything bigger than a theatre show (1500 or so). I realised that the thing I liked best was the intimacy of smaller gigs, and I never felt that at arena or stadium sized shows any more.

And club gigs when the band is on fire are the best. Whites of their eyes!

I don’t go to gigs unless being able to touch the band is an option.

I NEVER choose that option, but it’s important that it’s available to me.

I’m annoyed that I cancelled Disney+ a couple of months ago. I love a bandwagon.

Can I be in love with a series of images?

I wish I’d thought to ask him to do some sketches for me! He really does the most gorgeous work.

Investing in cloud storage has never been a thing I’ve heard anyone regret.

This is my main issue with the ‘yasss king/queen’ discourse; kings and queens are, almost without exception, shit-heels nobody should aspire to emulate.

Were most of these things not Disney/Dreamworks rivalries? Katzenberg left Disney to start Dreamworks, then a suspicious number of similar movies appeared from Dreamworks.

The ‘Snow Leopard’ stuff was just as much marketing chuff as every other year. Still, people bought it.

Neither of us have ever acknowledged Valentine’s Day since we got together. I can’t remember the last time I bought anyone flowers that wasn’t my mother. Herself doesn’t like flowers or things like that. She knows I love her, and I know she loves me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, just delete the Facebook app. Go there as a website instead. One less app on your phone that’s possibly up to no good.

The only true way to do this is to block Facebook (and Google, and everyone else) trackers from even loading in your browser. I’ve been doing this for about a decade now.

Wee bonus: websites load faster when all the tracking shite is blocked.

I deleted the app for starters. Now if I need to go there I fire up the site on my phone.

It’s amazing how just a little barrier of inconvenience has practically cured me of ever going there again.

I feel like for most of our not chronically online friends and family it’s the first and maybe last social network they join. They aren’t seeking anything beyond what it offers.
