If I may don the tinfoil cap for a second, I think the increasingly absurd restrictions on adult content also have the very much intentional side effect of restricting, if not wholly destroying avenues for (largely marginalized) people to provide for themselves, sidestepping a precarious job market.

NSFW content isn’t censored if it makes money for big corporations, but individuals and small creators have to toe an arbitrary line of what counts as too much.

I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking.
