Celestine is about the closest Lyla'll get to having a kid. She's also debated how much she wants to investigate Celestine's past. They have many unanswered questions, but at the same time, Lyla and Zhai'a think they should just focus on the present, especially since Celestine doesn't bring up much

Lyla and Zhai'a think their caretaking styles are close enough, but both would say Zhai'a is more hands-on and attentive. He'll move his work to the same room as Celestine so he can keep an eye on her, but Lyla just leaves a door cracked so she'll hear if it gets too quiet

Celestine's not Lyla's first talking animal companion, but unlike Lyla's owlet Aks, auspices, etc, she isn't an Allagan lab experiment or an older mystical being

She's still a kitten. She's usually well-behaved but she's rambunctious and some who've only heard or heard of her think she's a human

Lyla and Zhai'a co-pet parent Celestine, a cat Lyla adopted in Tuliyollal. Zhai'a named her

What sets Celstine apart from other pets is that she talks (as a result of unintended consequences of Quickening magicks cast on her birth mother), and she refers to both Lyla and Zhai'a as her parents

Lyla won't bring hers up unless it's part of the conversation, but that's not due to shyness or anything. She's open and straightforward about her sex life. There's no shame or embellishment. It's just not very interesting to her and she forgets about sex as an activity til someone mentions it

Lyla likes the crust, but she specifically makes sandwiches that she likes the crust with. If she doesn't like the crust for whatever reason, she'll cut it off or just not eat it. It depends on the bread and the sandwich

Lyla can handle crowded places, but she wouldn't say she's completely comfortable. She infinitely prefers secluded places. They're so much less overwhelming

Lyla's robe is turquoise blue and Y'shtola's is pale purple. Lyla is also wearing blue elegant rimless glasses and she has her Stardust Rod on her back. Lyla's is a Moon Keeper Miqo'te with cool-toned brown skin and long black hair with blue highlights. Y'shtola is a Sun Seeker Miqo'te with warm-toned beige skin and short white hair.

Lyla also has flank scars from the Javelin of Light at the Vault (her scarring from Philia's Light starts at it) and from fighting Zenos at Rhalgr's Reach (she later gave him a matching one at the Menagerie), on her left and right sides respectively

I adjust the timeline as I see fit and I keep it loose

In the #Lylaverse, it's been some very vague handful(s?) of years

Lyla's sense of time is poor from a linear perspective, but she's pretty sure it's been less than ten years in the Source. Hardly anyone she interacts with ever mentions exact dates (and she wouldn't calculate the time if they did)

Lyla has a fur pattern with rosettes and banding (difficult to see in certain light), and she has stripes on her lower limbs like those on her face

She also had bodily changes (scars, glimmering nails, etc) from her soul's reaction to her Light corruption that are often mistaken for body art
