Solo Levelling was infuriating after volume 2-3 but I had to find out what happened.
I really enjoyed The Stand and Dark Tower. I tried reading the first dark tower years ago and finally cracked into it. Worth.

React Advanced gave me more hope after a different conf fell so flat for me a month earlier (combo of weird talk/panel programming, venue, tone, subdued attendee vibe).
...or I'm projecting my own apathy, and it's not that London has too many tech events so nothing can be exciting for people 😅
Tbf this could be my nostalgia talking but i think the smallness of the country and dev community means: higher % of the community attend, fewer opportunities + competitive CFP pushes standards up, and all that combined means the community is more invested than average in event success and quality.

At least I asked them to log that I believe there's a technical issue with non US phone numbers and receiving reset codes. Unfortunately I can't change the number on the hacked account or anything but I'm 99% sure it's a widespread issue. 😭😭😭
Maybe I'm far too used to other support options I've used recently (Broker, Credit Card) who are actually able to manually trigger phone reset codes, or escalate. I have so much proof I own the account and someone else changed the email but there's nothing a support agent can do???
Paid £11 to get Meta verified on Instagram or whatever to access their chat based support. I want to cry. All the support could do was walk me through their self-service account recovery options. Nothing extra. They can't escalate. The decision tree terminates.
