Interests palaeontology, art especially science and paleoart, science, medicine, history, sewing and beading. Most knowledgeable and least likely to engage in arguments about nutrition - what can I say, the pseudoscientific claptrap wears you down.

There was that woman who ate a scone at every national trust property in the country. I remember this particularly because me and Mr Aardvarm agreed that this would be me if we didn’t own the horse. Most assuredly not Gen Z - was born the same year as Kurt Cobain.

Policy development seems to be just take on board what ever the left want regardless of it’s cost, evidence base or practicality. Just telling people they can have what they want because you know you’re never going to have to try to implement it is populism not good politics.

Needed to pay the rent.

No I belong to a profession where there’s actual consequences for breaking my code of conduct and believe politicians (and alternative β€œhealth professions”) should be the same.

And I have voted green locally in the past and may well do in future despite this populist charlatan being in charge.

β€œMysteriously exploded” like no one’s ever knocked on the floor getting a midnight snack.

And yes it does matter because many of us are part of professions where it would be unthinkable for us to break our code of conduct and we’d rightly expect to face serious consequences if we did.

Broke his code of professional conduct, but it’s ok he was part of a fake profession that didn’t enforce it anyway.

I always used to drop in and see Whistlejacket every time I was in London as it enthralled me even as a non arty teenage. But I remember at uni explaining I loved the picture of the horse to someone and being sneered at. Looking back this arts student obviously didn’t understand what art was about.

I’m very confused.

Managed to get cover at work so hoping to go.

Yes actually you’re right. The people I used to see in less affluent areas had terrible teeth.

Scary bad or scary β€œhow the fuck are we going to manage all these people?”

How are you doing for volunteers? I haven’t because I figured there’d be a lot of youngsters that might appreciate the subsidised tickets but assume you’ll put a call out nearer the time if you’re short.

πŸ˜€ - oh god I just finished the last one. And they couldn’t resist having one battling a T-Rex which is even less plausible than them swimming.

I tried to find out a bit more about it. but the website for the conference (assuming this is it) is appallingly slow.

That says more about you not bothering to find out about what they are doing than what they are actually doing.

I suspect I’m getting old enough to be his mom’s mother now and his type has been around since the dawn of time.

I nearly didn’t bother and then nearly gave up due to the appalling narration, but actually I’ve really enjoyed it.

I just suspended disbelief ’cos he was kinda cool and at least he wasn’t battling a therapod.

Yup I probably should too but failing to care enough πŸ˜‰. I always think of them sitting in their mums spare room in their underpants wondering why they can’t get a date.

They are increasing funding, but that doesn’t work quickly enough for those waiting now.

I think you mean justice not democracy and currently many are denied it by the long waits.

Ooh an offensive man who then says β€œwell if you can’t take a joke” - you’ve won me over with the sophistication of your argument.

Then someone needs to come up with a practical alternative that doesn’t just leave the victims waiting for years and I’ve not heard of one.

10.03.2026 11:20 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 3 πŸ“Œ 0

Well that’s the most spectacularly stupid thing I’ve read this morning. Guessing you’re never going to be a victim waiting years for justice in the UK courts.

Oh absolutely. I love Morgan Freeman. Maybe a crowdfunded ri hire him to do an alternative voiceover.
