A few years ago, my mother’s cat dropped this bird on the door step. It’s incredibly sad, but I couldn’t help but see the beauty in it. The positioning, the beauty of its feathers. This isn’t about glorifying the death of this beautiful creature, it’s about recognising the fragility of life and how quickly things can change. If this upsets anybody, I am sorry.
