tornados (in my experience) are no different than earthquakes in L.A.... they happen all the time but rare to be negatively impacted personally

not really tracking the storm itself beyond looking out the window, so that part's on me, but tornado part is usually difficult to predict

warnings just mean it's the right conditions for one, bc they tend to pop up pretty spontaneously and randomly

so far so good just lots of storms and some tornado warnings in the area tonight, not actually serious, but got a basement if I need it

grew up w hurricanes annually (and been in a house hit by a tornado before even 💅) so not worried
