Too late Rachel. They're already cashing in on Trump's war at the pumps.
Testament to the fact that your audience is sick & tired of right wing, sensationalist journalism & is looking for sensible debate & information, not just anti Starmer propaganda.
The IOW has a large percentage of white, Tory retirees tbh. My parents lived there for years having previously lived in the Midlands.
Are they the immigrants he's talking about ๐ค
I don't agree with Zack Polanski on most things tbh. He comes across as naive & out of his depth.
Peaked & heading for the inevitable trough.
Prices at UK petrol pumps are up, but actual govt rises won't take effect until Sept (if they actually implement this). Pay per mile prices aren't even in the pipeline (no pun intended) til 2028.
This is due to Trump's war, & probably a little opportunism by fuel companies.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has set out plans to step up monitoring of petrol and diesel prices.
Probably the usual critics...Burgon, McDonnell etc.
My state pension age is already 67, & has been since I retired early at 55. I'm now 64 ๐ค
So someone's apparently won umpteen million ยฃs on the lottery.
Whoever you are, can I suggest that there are many worthy causes to which you could donate some of it. Nobody actually needs an obscene amount of money like that.
As someone who's worked in NHS admin for donkeys years, can I just point out that the privatisation that's happened in the NHS can't be undone overnight? It's part of the framework now, & we need it medium term to continue to meet patients' needs.
Critics need to get real.
The NHS in England has seen ANOTHER fall in waiting lists in the data from January 2026.
This means that waiting lists have falled by more than 374k since Labour came in to government.
If you add in Wales as well, Labour run areas have seen a reduction in excess of 415k since July 2024.
Oh give it a rest Ed ๐คฆ
What a waste of money. You don't need a flag to prove you're a patriot, you just need to vote for someone other than Reform, who would sell our country to the highest bidder, then disappear with the takings.
An 8% drop in national food bank use under the Labour government.
Iโd put some of this down to free childcare, some to uplift in min wage & pensions, some to breakfast clubs and some to reducing interest rates/inflation.
This deserves massive applause. ๐๐๐
Delusional
๐ Wait lists have fallen again by 43k in January - 374k in 18 months.
๐ Fastest ambulance response in 5 years, down to less than 29 mins for heart attacks and stroke
๐ฅ A&E waits the shortest for four years despite a hugely demanding winter
Lots done, lots more to do.
Sharing from Twitter. I wish Labour posted here!!
The UK PM will visit Belfast today, to set out his commitment to protecting people from heating oil profiteering.
The majority of households in Northern Ireland rely on heating oil to heat their homes.
The PM will set out action already being taken to tackle this, & other cost of living measures.
Polanski is a left wing dream & a pragmatist's nightmare.
I'm no Polanski fan, but this kind of piss taking stuff isn't journalism to me.
This is just round 2. The likes of Rigby & Mason just can't help themselves.
Tbh, I really don't care. Starmer didn't commit the crime, & someone on the same kind of wavelength as Trump was a good idea for US negotiations.
Just more evidence of how delusional he is.
He changes his mind like his boxers, whichever way the wind is blowing, & if he can con interviewers to give him credence. Sadly, the latter are mostly bought & paid for by his ilk so he gets an easy ride.
My second List in 24 hours. Marking major reform as the Hereditary Bill has finally passed. A new Civil Society Council is formed and the majority of water bill increases have been stopped. Good news for UK startups and those producing wind turbines. Labour is rebuilding Britain
Our democratically elected PM & The Pretender.

These are the actual facts as of now.
Whether or not the govt makes any changes to, or goes ahead with these as scheduled due to the effects of Trump's war on oil prices remains to be seen.
