Working on this book has completely eaten my brain. It is an application continually running in the background. I wish I could say this kind of obsession led to generational works of literature! Mostly it's just me writing & rewriting the first chapter like a punishment from myth

I've got about 6 novels, finished, 'in the drawer' that I wrote in my 20s/30s - none of which were quite enough for publication (though I did nearly get an agent with one). But I think if I went at it now, I'd be able to produce something that could secure a little slice of a bookshelf somewhere.
But I also reflect on the games I've made and will release over the next year and think it's been really helpful to be in a world of just making stuff for a while.
btw guys this thing has reminded me that I do really need to write a novel that can be published sooner rather than later.

I'm working on this next: www.kickstarter.com/projects/ada... it's a solo journaling game about being hunted for the rest of your life because your heart is literally so delicious to monsters that they can seek you out. It's an attempt to do a game in prose that blends setting with procedures.

I used to play the constructed mode, but there was no way I was mentally capable of it at 4am. But buying and selling little guys to combo a number up, yes please.
I do think babies are specifically designed to try and make you sleep as well, on top of all of it. It's a real battle!
Oh yeah, it isn't a time for someone else's story. Gotta be a bit mindless.
