This picture has always been one of my favorite possessions. As a kid I received this picture from the White House and then spent several months mailing it to each President to get their autograph.
Jimmy Carter has always been a hero of mine. I remember watching his inauguration on the TV in the library at my elementary school. As an adult, I met him several times at different events.

A4. DI has been replaced with more discussions to engage students and increase analytical thinking. DI has also been replaced with an increase in writing. These discussions and writing practice are building the skills students will need in college or in the workplace.
And in Georgia, there is pressure to maintain high grades to earn the Hope scholarship to help defer the cost of college. The need to earn thus scholarship causes students to value the grade over the learning. #aplitchat
