The contributions show that world ordering from the margins needs to be analyzed in its own terms & not just in relation to the ‘centre’, since it is a generative space for diverse politics & dynamics, while at the same time being cautious not to romanticize/fetishize the “alternative” conceptions.
We propose 3 perspectives to study and research world ordering from the margins: positionality, methodology & strategy. Examining world order from these perspectives leads to a nuanced picture of a multitude of positions of marginality, emanating from different experiences, perceptions & discourses.
