More recycling, less waste β exploring a future collection model
Following improvements to the service and the expansion of recycling, the council is exploring the possibility of a move to fortnightly kerbside waste collections.
Cabinet has agreed to gather evidence and explore options around fortnightly kerbside waste collections. Any future changes will follow service modelling and redesign and further Cabinet approval in spring/summer 2026.
