I keep being intrigued by remarkable, but the subscription model is a huge turn off.

Sometimes people read what they want, regardless of what you write.
Just opened the app after a month and you're still on about the checkmark lol
I used to think we should have permanent DST. Now I think we should have permanent standard time, BUT New England should be shifted to the Atlantic time zone.
Project Hail Mary poster printed on cardstock, propped up on an easel, in front of a coat rack
Got to see an early screening of Project Hail Mary yesterday, and it was really good!
They kept it close to the book, the tone was right, the visuals were great.
The auditorium was packed, so it'll probably be popular. Worth seeing.

Night scene, iced-over Connecticut river, dark tree-covered hills, aurora borealis, stars
Took the fancy camera out to try to get a good aurora pic
I don't remember calling a number. Maybe my parents did that? I recall the news and the weather channel had the time posted on the screen.
There's also WWV. Not sure when radio clocks that listen to it became common, but I remember them being around when I was a kid.
Holidays are not a social construct because I can tell a mistletoe apart from a menorah on site
Getting lightheaded just looking at it lol
Amazing how all the gun lovers come out at any mention of taking the slightest action to save innocent lives, incorrectly saying gun control doesn't work, with absolutely no studies or stats to back up their false claims.
So Reiner to die by Benjamin Buttoning down to -22
Wow, that's wild. I thought it was a single ingredient, which is a rock. Is it processed on shared equipment or something?
I knew someone with a corn allergy and they made their own baking powder. The traditional recipe is:
- 1 part baking soda
- 2 parts cream of tartar
- 1 part corn starch
But you can substitute another starch, like tapioca or potato.
Nobody puts hope in a corner
Sharing was annoying because it wouldn't let me copy the text, so I had to type out the alt text manually.
It also wanted me to paste a link that would send you to the Wikipedia app in the Android Play store. Um, no.

Initial reaction is lol, but it's actually kinda fun and nice.
Is it cheap? It could do irreparable harm to their brand *if* enough soccer fans give a shit.
Seems like they've sized up their market and figured soccer fans don't care about corruption.
Soccer fans I run into online generally hate FIFA, but the tickets keep getting sold.
It remained the default for 17 years until Microsoft replaced it with Aptos, a slightly rounder typeface. The creator of Aptos was aiming for a typeface βwith the universal appeal of the late NPR newscaster Carl Kasell and the astute tone of βThe Late Showβ host Stephen Colbert,β Microsoft wrote in a blog post about the change.
After this article, they're trying to figure out how to deplatform Aptos
They can walk and chew gum at the same time. As long as the walking is horrific crimes, and the chewing gum is virtue signaling.
I'd watch a video series called wokism that's about cooking with woks
How does he know about it turning into a poltergeist if you don't do right by the city? How does he know about that?
One of the people involved in this is Stephen Coates, an IP lawyer that managed Twitterβs trademarks.
So this hilariously has the weight of not being some rando doing this.
Times New Roman supports more unicode characters than Calibri.
I'd like to commend Marco Rubio on his commitment to DEI.
It might be for accessibility, but there's also a good chance it's because Times looks *bad* at 12 point or smaller.
Unlike Arial, Calibri, & Aptos, it wasn't designed to look good on screens.
Could be for both reasons.
Do Minneapolitans call St. Paul Mini-me-polis?
that should totally be a thing
Dashboard Monad
kinda rude to tbi victims, tbh
That's kind of a rude reaction to the FIFA Peace Prize of league titles
