Next Wednesday (18th) is the first night of a new monthly music night at Crookes Social Club called Acoustic Encounters. "Each evening will feature three primarily acoustic acts playing a 40/45 minute set each, £10 entry" @helpsheffield.co.uk

the meal of 2026. that la zi ji and yu xiang aubergine is out of this world. sheffield has the best Chinese food in the UK

I work there every day. I think they've done a great job redeveloping it. There are loads of great places to eat and it's always busy even on a Tuesday lunchtime. Local charities have done well helping the homeless back into life. Crucially it's clean, it feels safe and looked after.

They don’t.

It takes some talent to fail to find 12,000 parking spaces. How have you managed that?

In what way does it make no sense?

I quite like Sheffield. even though it's city centre makes no sense, and buses seem like mere rumours, it has the juice. However every time I go there it tries to convince me that reverend and the makers are real and that I should care about them. absolutely not
