The inconvenient truth we have to face is that the term ‘looked-after’ child is one of the most commonly used oxymorons in the English language. Too many ‘looked-after’ children are pushed from pillar-to-post, neglected, abandoned & abused. Any society’s greatest task to care for its children!

Not teaching at present as on long term sick with long covid but ex English, autism and ASN teacher. Up in Scotland now but I taught in England for many years so I’m still interested in English education as well as Scottish education.
