Yeah! That's because the data is held by charges rather than alterations to a physical disk, so when left sitting without power, temperature, EMFs, and so-on can cause the data to "leak", or in other words, the gates holding the charge lose their insulation ability and then lose the charge.

No, even hard disks are climbing in price. Everything is. We never recovered from the manufactured GPU scarcity that hit its peak in 2020, and I doubt we'll "recover" from this. They'll use this as an excuse to keep prices super elevated.

The engineering behind their screen sharing/stream service alone is absolutely bonkers and was very obviously developed with passion by talented developers

Prometheus was pretty original compared to the rest of alien and Dredd was… not something I’d consider a traditional super hero movie lmao.

To each their own, but I love world building and if it takes more movies to do that, and the movies are quality, I’m game.

It just sucked that they hand-waved the rest of Elizabeth’s life with some half-hearted explanation. You’re right though, a proper sequel could fix a lot of this.

Focus more on the sick world building they set up with Mr. Wayland and the engineers. Trash the shameless transition into another xenomorph kill silly humans movie. Maybe they run to the side from the falling engineer ship rather than along its falling path? LOL.

The engineers were still plenty mysterious until Alien: Covenant basically threw all that world building out the window. Plus, the Prometheus extended cut shows some extra clips with the engineers, making them even more mysterious. I loved the world building in that film.

I need 2 things from Hollywood, and yes, I am willing to beg for them:

1. We need another “Dredd” with Karl Urban as Judge Dredd

2. Retcon Alien: Covenant and give Prometheus a proper sequel
