I’ve probably told this before, but one of my favorite mom stories is how she purposefully flew the flag outside her house on the day of Nixon’s resignation. She’s one of the good boomers.

VIC MORROW.
I will fly the flag, celebrate all night with you, and call in sick tomorrow if tonight’s the night.
As a kid I had friends whose dads were machinists and mechanics and stuff. They’d always be good for the latest Snap-On calendar hanging in the basement, it being a local company and all.

My wife and daughter clipped our lop’s nail a little too close today. It hits me hard. Love those animals.
Stored on wooden planks on top of cinder blocks. Hell of a bedroom.

Just sitting here in Wisconsin, now on year 25 of awaiting Petey Pablo’s directive to take my shirt off, twist it ‘round my head, spin it like a helicopter.
We sat patiently through the All Cities remix and were met with radio silence.
Standing by.
I love the original sign so much. It’s coded so that good people understand and can be amused by it, and assholes are the only ones offended by it.
Also, it’s the way one would speak to a child.
Whoa, they still managed to come out on top. Well played.
A house in my neighborhood has had a sign in the yard reading “WHAT DID YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN?” for the past year-and-a-half, and recently some dickbag spray painted over it.

Modern college basketball’s fandom has the “AIR-BALL” cadence all wrong. They’re giving it the “ASS-HOLE” treatment, which is much too fast. They should be doing whole notes, not half notes.
It’s the melancholy image and the haunting realization that this was his last card released while he was alive.

When I was a kid I had exactly ONE Disney Ducks Whitman comic book, this collected edition comprised entirely of Gyro Gearloose episodes. For years I mistakenly believed that he was the central protagonist of the ongoing Duckburg saga.
I did like that little lightbulb friend of his, tho.
