Quick, look busy!
Quick, look busy!
A photo of a French magazine about lovable looking Marmottes
Ever get the feeling you’re publishing absolutely the wrong kind of magazine
Guy who has just learned how to whistle really loudly, watching a band do a quiet song at a concert: Getting a lot of really loud whistling vibes from this
So sad, that’s 4 gigs I’ve been to over the last week and a half, at each one more and more people afflicted by this malady where if there don’t talk for at least 30 seconds out of every minute they simply cease to exist. Someone needs to raise awareness about this epidemic
A controversial view apparently but I must say that voters around the world should just try not voting for people for whom attaining political office & staying in power is in all likelihood the only way that they can avoid going to prison
no matter which way you cut it, it's simply not a great idea
Oh so nice!
A quote from the BBC. "She did some stuff off the wall," said Justin Leonard, a 28-year-old firefighter in Georgia's 14th congressional district, who voted for Greene twice. "Kind of making conservatives look a little right-wing and a little like nut jobs. But other than that, I think she did her job."
Been staring at this quote about Marjorie Taylor Greene for about 5 minutes now, Republican voters really are a very special bunch
Andrew O’Hagan hitting this grifting family off the top rope with every line here
finding out Laurel & Hardy were real people who had been massively famous film stars was weird
Though tbh seeing as the cartoon was made in the 60s, based on films from the 1920s and 30s and I was watching it in the 1980s, the whole thing was odd
The cover to the book Gizmo by Simon Tyler with various bits of gloriously chunky retro tech on it
A spread from the book Gizmo, here we see a Simon Says, a Touch Me & a Speak and Spell
A spread from the book Gizmo, here we see various Walkmans (Walkmen?)
A spread from the book Gizmo, here we see various old mobiles, blackberrys and the like.
Yes thank I very much would like this book on my shelves

ha yeah, these things are all very weirdly relative
saying that when I was listening to it in Rush Hour I probably would have paid anything you asked for it
the b-side here just blew me away, need to play this somewhere very loud in the sunshine to a load of sky high ravers
it is a VERY lovely magazine, but yeah
still probably wasn't even close to being the most ridiculous thing I bought
I do like Amsterdam but it can be very aggressive on the wallet once you get in the swing of it
looking through my receipts and 17 euros for a 7" feels a little punchy too... 🤔
memo to self, remember when in ultra cool arty boutiques ask how much the ultra cool arty magazine you're about to buy is before handing it over
I'm not saying I wouldn't have spent €50 on it but I'm also not saying I necessarily would have
also, memo to self, charge more for Wyrd Science...
A copy of wyrd science with a pair of googly eyes and a big mouth stick on it
Oh no, top cognitive and brain science researchers at Wyrd Science Inc. believe that Wyrd Science, the best tabletop game magazine in the world, may have developed consciousness & all this ‘print is dead’ talk is making it anxious
Maybe you should buy a copy so this little chap doesn’t feel so sad
not just straight up murdered in the streets, he's continuing to gargle Putin's balls and he's surrounded himself with the most aggressively stupid and unlikeable humans on the planet' these numbers should be pretty devastating.
and then they're like he's down a whole 1% to 39%!
oh, ok. thanks 😑
I'll never fail to be caught out when US pollsters talk about Trump's terrible, no good, worst ever ratings
I'm like, 'ok well he's wrecking the entire world's economy, atomising Iranian schoolgirls, threatening to invade old allies, covering up for pedophiles, having US citizens disappeared if...
I'm not sure if the TTRPG community is ready for this conversation yet but at some point we really need to talk about Free League's switch from matt to glossy covers for so many of their games. such a weird decision that makes a lot of these otherwise very nice looking books look cheap as shit
A crappy photo of a proud Egyptian goose parent and hidden amongst the river bank its gosling crew
You’ll have to allow the crappy photo as I didn’t want to get too close and disturb them but first goslings of the year spotted #blessed 🐣🦆🙌
Sorry folks, this isn’t another shitty job you can outsource abroad you’re going to need to fix this one yourselves.
Bit odd to see Americans enthusiastically call for their soldiers & politicians being tried in The Hague, when in the cosmically unlikely event of an American ever appearing there it would be immediately followed by the USAF somehow making the Netherlands flatter than it already is.
that initial quote from the promoter, lol. can just imagine their PR guy stood there fucking aghast
I thought I’d reached peak hatred for Hegseth but somehow in just 2 minutes of listening to this wanker talk and I’ve discovered hitherto undreamed of reserves of contempt for this cunt & all who enable him
I always forget just how weird and detached from everyday reality the adverts on BBC World News are
finally, some good fucking nominative determinism
A crab holding a pint of Guinness and saying have this one on me!
Well, the paperwork has finally come through and as of today I’m officially a citizen of the Republic of Ireland. Éirinn go Brách!
Viagra Boys on stage in Bruxelles
Somewhat unexpected Viagra Boys gig was fun
have you never produced a range like this? I'm surprised you event (bit yank coded I guess)
At some point I think we need to have a serious conversation in Belgium about why so many young fighting age men with names like Ronnie van der Racist are unable or unwilling to integrate into modern Europe
There was a really dispiriting article on the bbc about these arseholes doing videos like this about London just last week www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... and I see we have our own wankers here too, once again I hate people sometimes (too often)

a crude illustration of a sad looking man unenthusiastically poking a flaming globe with a stick and saying "c'mon buy a magazine"
