god how did they do an entire 3 year arc and have 3 central characters to the war just not do anything until side stories, the hell were they smoking
They also have the opportunity to do the funniest shit ever which is to animate the Siege teaser at the end of s3, with everyone now knowing that "The Siege arc" contains very little actual Siege because they kept sidelining her from her own story for the sake of selling new units
there's no good parallel to justify it it's just necessary to know why she went fucking apeshit and they did this for questionable reasons
everyone who went through it after just skipped the flashbacks and read them in one go before finishing
Please just do all of the Talulah reunion flashbacks in one go and don't make it jump between the desperate rush to murder her and stop the collision and "Talulah enjoys some tea with her gf in the past" constantly.
Anyway I hope they realised for the anime that cutting away every 5 minutes for a 30 minute flashback then cutting away from that at a critical moment to go back to the original critical scene and then doing that for 8 hours was a fucking horrendous way to structure it in game.

it's really cool that in game the actual massacre is an auto-played stage where Talulah kills all the NPCs but I cannot wait to see how they do it in full.

The best part of Alina's death is how dramatic it is and then the sudden cut to everyone at Reunion just going "Ah, someone died? What a shame. I feel bad for the kids."
I have waited 3 and a half years since they announced they were animating the main story just to see a girl die and you're god damn RIGHT I AM EXCITED TO SEE IT FINALLY.
I don't expect this to be any better than the last 2 seasons but regardless of what happens we get to see The Walk and the Village so there's no real losing here
