I like to think there’s a comedy element to what I do. If I don’t hear people laughing while I perform, I assume things are going poorly. A lot of experimental musician/improvisers take themselves way too seriously IMO.

I’ve been recording a particular sea cave/crevice in Clam Harbour, Nova Scotia for many years. Last night I learned that the old timers out here call that place The Devil’s Throat! 🔥🔥
I had a lovely time presenting my field recording work at Steeple Green last night. For me, listening to nature sounds through quality speakers at high volume is such a moving experience. I hope to present more listening events of this type. Thanks to all of those who came out.
