This is what happens when I forget to record in OBS as well, so you get the rubbish quality 1080p30 video from the console itself rather than glorious high bitrate 1080p60 from my capture card

welp, my Pi 5 case fan died after a couple months of making awful grinding noises sometimes. Then the cable snapped removing it. Fun.

The matchmaking in this game is abysmal but occasionally it allows me some shenanigans

I really want to study up on software rendering techniques properly at some point. Also 3D maths in general. But I wrote the above without reference in like 30 minutes which goes to show how easy raycasting is I guess. (Fast, good-looking raycasting, maybe not so much.)

on the good side, it appears the issue I was having where kwin_x11 was always placing windows in the top-left is now fixed

It detects one window: its own, and that's the only thing that has any video.
It can tell I have two screens but the video stream from both is just entirely black.
It can also detect my capture card, but can't get any video from it.

The year is 2026 and Discord screen sharing still does not work under Wayland...
